Cary is an award-winning creative and content director, brand builder and executive producer with a track record of delivering purpose-driven stories across film, digital and experiential platforms. At Knix he leads the content team to create bold, original storytelling that drives community engagement and brand growth. He has shaped creative strategy and storytelling for leading agencies and clients as Executive Creative Director at Omnicom and Head of Content at Sid Lee, and he mentors emerging talent as an instructor at Miami Ad School.
Cary’s film and documentary work has been widely recognized. At Red Bull Media House he produced and commissioned short and long-form series for Red Bull TV and forged distribution partnerships with the National Film Board, OVO, Telus and the CBC. The documentary for Tomorrow and related campaigns have earned honours from the Shorty Impact Awards, SXSW Innovation Awards, Telly Awards and global film festivals. Earlier in his career he oversaw development and production at Bell Media, steering original programming for specialty channels. His commitment to creativity, sustainability and social impact has also been recognised through Marketing Awards for sustainability and Webby Awards.
